WARNING
Safe Working Load of the Standard Trapeze is 168 lb. (750 N). DO NOT exceed 168 lb. (750 N).
Safe Working Load of Heavy Duty Trapeze is 250 lbs. (1115 N). DO NOT exceed 250 lb. (1115 N).
A PINCH / SQUEEZE point exists between the head deck and the side rails.
To avoid INJURY keep arms and other appendages away from the openings in the side rails and the upward moving head
deck.
CAUTION
Contact between the floor and the Assist Rail may cause the bed to become UNSTABLE.
An unstable bed may tilt from horizontal and / or drop suddenly causing property DAMAGE or personal INJURY. Before
lowering the bed, ensure the Assist Rail is NOT in the TRANSFER position. INJURY from patient falls may occur even
when operating the side rails as instructed. Place the bed in the lowest position to minimize the risk from falls.
The trapeze bar may damage walls and ceilings when used with the Trendelenburg feature. Invacare recommends removing
the trapeze when using the Trendelenburg function.
DO NOT install an 84 Inch CS Bed kit on a bed that is equipped with the CPR release feature.
DO NOT install an 84 Inch CS Bed kit on a bed that is equipped with the Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg
feature.
Risk of FALL when Assist Bar is UNLATCHED. Assist Bar may rotate quickly and drop to the next locked position causing
the patient to lose their balance and fall. Ensure the Assist Bar is fully latched in down position after each use. Check that
the Assist Bar is locked before leaving a patient unattended. Never use the Assist Bar as a Rail.
If necessary, the head and foot end board position can be adjusted in order to meet FDA guidelines. Refer to the section

titled, "Install the Mattress Keeper Rod to the Head and Foot Decks" for detailed instructions on adjusting the end board
bracket location.
