    Indesit Company GENERAL INFORMATION These models are integrated front loading dishwashers providing a choice of eleven wash programmes to suit load requirements. The programme selection button, On/Off switch and Programme Display and Option Buttons are mounted along the top edge of the door panel.     Indesit Company SETTING THE WATER HARDNESS These models have 5 Water Hardness Settings depending on the water supply where the machine is located. The Water Hardness Setting must be set: - before the machine is used for the first time, - if a new Module has been fitted or if the machine is moved to a different water area.

  • Page 12 Indesit Company Virtual Sensor (BLAC WASH PUMP) Sensing Blocked Filter If, during the wash cycle, the Wash Pump (functioning as Virtual Sensor) senses a Clogged Filters/ Suds situation, the main board will reduce the motor rpm by 20%. If the situation stabilizes, the problem will be identified as “Suds” and the pump continues operating at the new speed.

  • Page 16 Indesit Company Brushless Flexipower BLAC Wash Pump Motor The Brushless Flexipower Wash Pump Motor is very quiet and its speed can be varied by the Control Module. There are 2 connectors fitted to the Brushless Circulating Wash Pump, a 2 wire power cable and a 3 wire Data lead.
  • Page 17 Indesit Company Water Softening and Regeneration To obtain acceptable cleaning results, it is necessary to soften the washing water if the hardness is above 7 Clarke. Without water softening, limescale deposits especially on glassware and the internal dishwasher cavity would be noticed, also hard water would affect the performance of the powder or tablet resulting in a reduced cleaning performance.

    Indesit Company AUTO TEST CYCLE Note: At the Start of the Auto Test cycle, the machine will display the last fault detected by the module. The Auto Test Cycle will run a quick Diagnosis Cycle, and if a fault is detected will show the relevant fault code.

If any earth faults are found on initial testing they must be rectified before using the fault code chart, to avoid erroneous codes being displayed.

  • Page 24 Indesit Company Fault Notes • Blocked Filter There is NOT a fault code for a blocked filter. The large surface area of the filter makes a blocked filter very unlikely. If the filter was completely blocked, and the pressure switch had not moved to the FULL position after a maximum fill of 5.5 litres of water, the machine will drain and continue with the cycle.

    Indesit Company MODULE PROGRAMMINg The module will always be supplied without a programme when supplied as a spare part. Note: This board does not have a physically replaceable Eeprom. Programming a Module: There are a number of ways the board can be programmed - some of which are not applicable to certain markets.

Remove any screws that may have been fitted to replace broken clips. Release 2 fixing clips on front edge. Ease panel forwards releasing lugs from rear of panel.

Correct amount of Rinse Aid The purpose of rinse aid when added to the water of a final rinse is to allow the water to run off the dishes as a complete film so that no water-run marks or calcium are left. To enable this to happen it is essential that the correct amount of rinse aid is dispensed.
