XT9 Stroke mode
Press T, and select XT9 Stroke.
Each key represents the following strokes;

◆ Entering English text
■ Activate traditional text input
Enter a character

Press a number key (1-9) repeatedly, until the desired
character is displayed. There are more characters available than
are visible on the key.
If the next letter is located on the same key, Press r to move

the cursor forward and press the key again.

Quickly press 0 three times.
■ Activate predictive text input
To write the desired word, use the keys 2-9. Press each

key once for each letter. For example, to write Fujitsu, press
3 for F, 8 for u, 5 for j, 4 for i, 8 for t, 7 for s,
and 8 for u.
The word suggestion changes after each key selection.
If the word is not correct, press * repeatedly, until the

correct match is displayed. If ? is displayed after the word, the
word is not in the dictionary.
To insert a space, press 0. To insert a common punctuation

mark, press 1, and then press * repeatedly, until the
correct punctuation mark is displayed.

Start writing the next word.
◆ Define the writing language
Press m > Settings > Phone > Language > Writing language.
