12 Hyper terminal.

12.1

General

When your system becomes unreachable via an Ethernet connection, it is possible to use HyperTerminal to
set the TCP/IP settings to their correct value for system access. This will help your regain access to your
system.
12.2

Correct the TCP/IP settings

To start HyperTerminal select the application from the Windows start menu by choosing:
<Start> <Programs>
After HyperTerminal is started you will see a window similar to the one below.
Follow the instructions on the screen and fill in a name for the connection (for example: Praesideo).
Press <OK> to continue.
Select the serial port you will use to connect the network controller of the Praesideo system with the PC.
You may also make the actual connection at this moment by using an RS232 1:1 cable.
