Installing the Subscriber Station
• The RJ45 connector kit (included). Contains an RJ45 connector and loading bar.
• CAT-5e cable of suitable length for your application. For information on cable specifications, refer to
Section 3.5, "IDU to ODU Cable
• Standard cable splicing tools, including a standard crimp tool.
To assemble the PoE connector, do the following:
1.
Slide the connector components on to the wire.

Strip the wire jacket 38 mm (1.5 in) from the tip, making sure not to cut the foil or drain wire.
