Chapter 4 AMI BIOS Setup
Description/Purpose
When enabled, a VMM (Virtual
Machine Monitor) can utilize the
additional hardware capabilities
provided by Vanderpool Technology
(VT).
Turns on/off the MLC streamer
prefetcher.
Turns on/off prefetching of adjacent
cache lines.
Enables/Disables CPU Advanced
Encryption Standard instructions.
Enabling Intel(R) Speed Shift
Technology will expose the CPPC
v2 interface to allow for hardware
controlled P-states.
Allows more than two frequency
ranges to be supported.
