Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) lets you monitor and manage your
router from an SNMP manager. SNMP provides a remote means to monitor and
control network devices, and to manage configurations, statistics collection,
performance, and security.

Configuring SNMP System Information

In the SNMP System Information section of the SNMP page, you can enable
SNMP.
Before you can use SNMP, install SNMP software on your computer. The
Cisco RV215W supports only SNMPv3 for SNMP management. The
Cisco RV215W supports SNNPv1/2/3 for SNMP trap messages.
To enable SNMP:
Choose Administration > SNMP.
Check Enable to enable SNMP.
Enter this information:
SysContact
SysLocation
SysName
Click Save.
Enter the name of the contact person for this
firewall (for example, admin or John Doe.)
Enter the physical location of the firewall (for
example, Rack #2, 4th Floor.)
Enter a name for easy identification of the firewall.
