Attaching the Dock Adapter to the Portable

The PSC PT Dock is specially designed for use with the PT2000 or Top
Gun. Use the dock for data transmission between the portable and a PC.
Remove the portable from the dock to use it for data collection.
The PT Dock comes with the following accessories:
An adapter for the base of the PT2000 or Top Gun, and two
screws
Rubber pads and Velcro™ strips for the bottom of the dock
A Power adapter and cables for the PT Dock are available separately
from a PSC dealer.
Before using the PT Dock for the first time, connect the adapter to the
base of the PT2000 or Top Gun. Complete the steps in
Caution: Be careful not to overtighten the screws.
1.
Align the pins on the PT Dock adapter with the holes in the
connector on the base of the PT2000 or Top Gun. Be sure the
orientation of the adapter matches the orientation of the base, as
shown in
Figure D-2 on page 109
