DIGITAL ELECTRONIC SCALE


This mixer includes a digital kitchen scale and measuring bowl to assist in
measuring ingredients by weight.

7.1 BATTERIES:


The scale operates by using 3 AAA batteries. The battery compartment can
be accessed by removing the mixing bowl and mixing turntable, pushing the
scale into the closed and locked position and turning the stand mixer upside
down.
TIP: it may be necessary to use a flat headed screwdriver to aid in removing
the battery compartment cover.

7.2 RELEASING THE SCALE:


To release the scale from the stored and locked position, press the button
marked SCALE. The sale will spring open.

Gently pull the scale fully out to the locked position.

7.3 Using the Scales:


Press the power button to turn the scale on and off.

When the scale display comes on, wait until the blue digital display reads
0.00.

Ingredients may be weighed directly on the scale or in the included measuring
bowl (or another measuring bowl).

With an empty measuring bowl on the scale, press the zero button
to default the weight to 0.00. This way, only the weight of the
ingredients is measured.

To convert between weight units, press the Kg/lb/oz button at any
time before or during weighing. The weights are kilograms (kg),
pounds (lb) and ounces (0Z).
