Which motor fits the converter?
Ratio of the motor and inverter rated currents
The rated current of the motor must be in the range 13% to 100% of the rated converter
current.
Example: With an inverter with a rated current of 10.2 A, you can operate motors whose
rated currents are within the range of 1.3 A ... 10.2 A.

Specifying the control mode
The converter has three open-loop control and closed-loop control modes for induction
motors:
● Open-loop control with U/f-characteristic (U/f control)
● Field-oriented control (sensorless vector control)
● Speed control (vector control with encoder)
The control modes have different degrees of suitability when it comes to controlling a
position-controlled axis:
