The LCD is back lit under the
following conditions:
1. While receiving an incoming
call (during ringing).
2. For 20 seconds , when the
handset is picked up from the
cradle.
3. For 20 seconds , when any
button is pressed in any mode.

The LCD back light goes off
immediately after the handset
is placed on the base.
The key is used to review
Caller ID information stored in
memory.
The key is used to access the
telephone line or end a call.
