Usage Risk of injury Lifting the wheelchair incorrectly may injure the assistant. – Do not lift the wheelchair by gripping the removable armrests or legrests. – Lift the wheelchair at the correct points, use the legs when lifting and keep the back as straight as possible.

Configurations and accessories that are unsuitable to be used as a seat in transportation in a vehicle are mentioned later on in this chapter.
