Tap & Pay
When NFC is turned on, you can use the Tap & pay feature to pay for items just by touching
your phone to a reader at a register. If your phone doesn't have a default app, you can browse
Google Play for payment apps. See
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps
2. Select an app to use.

Location Settings

The location services settings menu lets you decide whether you allow your phone to collect
and use the location information.
1. From the Home screen, tap Apps
2. Tap the OFF icon.
3. The following options are available:

Mode to select the method your phone uses to determine your location.

High accuracy: Uses GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular networks to determine
your location.
•
Battery saving: Uses Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and cellular networks to determine your
location.
•
Device only: Uses only GPS to determine your location.
Lock Screen Settings
The lock screen settings menus allow you to lock your phone's screen and enhance the security
feature through various options.
Security Type
You can increase the security of your phone by creating a screen lock.
In order from no secure to most secure, the available options are:

None (No security): Turn off the screen lock.

Swipe (No security): Tap and swipe up.
●
Pattern (Medium security): Draw a pattern to unlock.
●
PIN (Medium to high security): Enter four to sixteen digits PIN code to unlock.
Settings
Turn NFC On or Off
> Settings > Tap & pay > Payment default.
> Settings > Location.
