Fast-Forward/Reverse
Push and hold the fast-forward button
to advance through a track at high
speed.
Push and hold the reverse button
to reverse through a track at high
speed.
Track Search
A Push the track down button
within a few seconds after
playback begins to return to the
previous track.
B Push the track up button
to skip to the beginning of the
next track.
C Push the track down button
after a few seconds of
playback to start from the beginning
of the current track.
Folder Search
To change to the previous folder, push
the folder down button ▼, or push
the folder up button ▲ to advance to
the next folder.
Music Scan
This function scans the titles in a folder
currently being played and plays
10 seconds of each song to aid you in
finding a song you want to listen to.
Push and hold the scan button (MEDIA)
during playback to start the scan play
operation (the track number will flash).
Push and hold the scan button (MEDIA)
again to cancel scan playback.
Note: If the unit is left in scan, normal
playback will resume where scan was
selected.

Repeat Playback
Track Repeat
Proceed as follows:
A Push the repeat button (one) during
playback to play the current track
repeatedly. "TRACK RPT" is
displayed ( is displayed next to
RPT at the bottom of the display
area).
B To cancel the repeat playback, push
the button again after three
seconds.
Folder Repeat
Proceed as follows:
A Push the repeat button (one) during
playback, and then push the button
again within three seconds to play
the tracks in the current folder
repeatedly. "FOLDER RPT" is
displayed ( is displayed next to
RPT at the bottom of the display
area).
Random Playback
Tracks are randomly selected and
played.
Folder Random
Proceed as follows:
A Push the random button (two)
during playback to play the tracks in
the folder randomly. "FOLDER
RDM" is displayed ( is displayed
next to RDM at the bottom of the
display area).
B To cancel the random playback,
push the button again after three
seconds.
