REPAIR
Clamp
NOTE: Removing the clamp requires
a
standard steer-
vide two screws (E), size 1/4-28 x 3 or 4 inches
ing wheel puller. However, you will need to pro-
long.
NOTE: Refer to Fig 31-1
1. Loosen the two screws (1 6) on the clamp (7), work-
ing through the slot at the bottom
of the clutch hous-
ing (2).
2. Install
two screws
(E) of the tool (A) in
two of the
threaded holes in the clamp. Tighten the screw (C)
until the clamp comes off.
Clutch Housing
NOTE: Refer to Fig 31-2.
1. Remove the four capscrews (8)
and lockwashers (9)
holding the clutch housing (2) to the engine.
2. Remove the capscrew ( E ) , lockwasher (80) and
washer (34) from below the mounting plate (D).
3. Remove the engine key (13).
4. Pull off the clutch housing (2).
