System warning lights

The master warning light does not come on or flash in the following cases. Instead, a
separate system warning light will come on or flash along with the message shown
on the multi-information display.
Malfunction of the AFS (Adaptive Front Lighting System)

The "AFS OFF" indicator light flashes. (P. 173)
Malfunction of the brake system
●
The brake system warning light (red indicator) comes on. (P. 630)
Malfunction of the electronically controlled brake system or electric parking
●

The brake system warning light (yellow indicator) comes on. (P. 631)
Malfunction of the ABS
●
The ABS warning light comes on. (P. 631)
Malfunction of the charging system
●
The charging system warning light comes on. (P. 630)
High engine coolant temperature
●
The needle of the engine coolant temperature gauge enters the red zone.

When "Electrical equipment operation is limited" is shown

This message indicates that the battery is low. When the message is shown, opera-
tion of electrical equipment that uses a large amount of electric power, such as the
air conditioning system, may be limited temporarily. This does not indicate a mal-
function. Operation of electrical equipment will be restored after the battery is
charged.
