    Getting Started  1.2 Installing the SIM Card, Battery, and Storage Card Always turn off your device before installing or replacing the SIM card, battery, and storage card. You also need to remove the back cover before you can install these components.

Slide the SIM card out from the slot with your other thumb or finger.     Getting Started  1.8 Start Screen The Start screen, which can be opened by touching Start from the top left corner of the screen or by pressing the HOME/START (?) key, gives you one-touch access to all the programs and settings of your Windows Mobile-powered device. You can also add the shortcut icons of your favorite programs in the Start screen so you can open them quickly.

    TouchFLO™ D  To move or hide a TouchFLO 3D Home screen tab On the Home screen, slide your finger to the Settings tab, then touch Customize Tabs. To move a tab, touch and hold the icon before the tab name, then drag it up or down the tabs list.
  • Page 64 4 TouchFLO™ D To view the date and time in other cities On the Home tab, tap the clock to open the World Clock tab ( ) and view the date and time in up to ten cities. By default, the cities that are listed on the World Clock tab are the same cities listed on the Weather tab.

Use the People screen to quickly view all your contacts, select a contact as favorite, and more. The People screen has four tabs: All, Favorites, Updates and Events, and Call History.

    4 TouchFLO™ D Messages On the Messages tab, you can read SMS text messages as they arrive and create a new SMS text message. When there are new incoming text messages, the icon on the Messages tab will show the number of new messages. For example, indicates that there is a new message received.
  • Page 75 TouchFLO™ D 5 To add an e-mail account On the Home screen, slide your finger to the Mail tab. If this is your first time to add an e-mail account, touch New Account on the bottom-right side of the screen. Set up your e-mail account using the E-mail Setup wizard.

This may incur additional data connection costs. Photos and Videos The Photos and Videos tab lets you visually flip through your photos and video clips and view them in full screen.

    TouchFLO™ D  Tap Menu > Set Album as Favorite and then tap OK on the confirmation screen. The current temperature, temperature range, type of weather (sunny, cloudy, showers, or others), time of day (daytime or nighttime), and the weather information for the next four days of the week are shown on the Weather tab.
  • Page 88  TouchFLO™ D Settings The Settings tab allows you to synchronize information with your computer or the Exchange Server, change sound settings such as the sound profile, ring tone, and choose a different wallpaper for the Home tab. You can also touch Communications and easily turn on and off the communications features of your device such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and more.
