The Enova DGX Digital Media Switcher 800/1600/3200/6400 includes an integrated NetLinx NX Central Control Processor,
supports InstaGate Pro®, DXLink™ Technology, and SmartScale® on every video output, and manages and distributes analog and
digital audio and video including HDMI/HDCP, control, and Ethernet.
The Enova DGX Switcher is available as a custom system, which means it can be ordered in input to output configuration sizes that
fit your installation and contain an assortment of input, output, and expansion boards in a single enclosure (expansion board types
cannot be mixed).
NOTE: Because Enova DGX Switchers are available as custom systems, the illustrations in this manual may differ from the model(s)
purchased.
Features – Enova DGX 100 Series
I/O Boards: HDMI, DVI, DXLink Twisted Pair, DXLink Twisted Pair 4K, DXLink Fiber, and Audio
True HDMI switching, allowing any input to be switched to any or all outputs.

Incorporates HDMI® technology – HDMI, DVI, DXLink Twisted Pair, and DXLink Fiber Boards.

HDCP 1.4 compatible.

HD I/O boards support uncompressed video resolutions up to 1920x1200,60Hz including HDTV up to 1080p.

4K I/O boards support progressive resolutions from 480p up to 4096x2160p@60Hz (Y/Cb/Cr 4:2:0).

DGX Technology provides a common signal transport and matrix switching layer that transcodes between analog and

digital signals.
HDMI and DVI Output Boards, as well as compatible DXLink Receivers, feature SmartScale® Technology which

automatically responds to the display's preferred EDID information and scales the video to the best resolution and video
settings for that display without manual setup.
Pre-loaded with the most common EDID settings on each switcher input connector (other than fiber connectors) to emulate

display response when queried, which ensures that transmission of the video from the source device is working.
Custom EDID settings can be loaded on each DVI and HDMI input with the System Configuration interface.

InstaGate Pro® Technology – Easily integrate HDCP into system designs and enjoy hassle-free matrix switching to all

compliant displays. No tools, no delays, and no key constraints – it just works.
DXLink Twisted Pair Boards provide transport over twisted pair cable.

DXLink Fiber Boards provide transport over fiber cable.

Audio Switching (ASB-DAN and ASB) expansion Boards provide audio breakaway and downmixing for embedded or

inserted audio with Digital Signal Processing capabilities on every output.
The Audio Insert/Extract (expansion) Board can be set to insert/extract audio into/out of video input or output boards.

Digital Media Switcher
The available input/output range starts at 4x4 and goes to 8x8 for the Enova DGX 800, to 16x16 for the Enova DGX 1600,

to 32x32 for the Enova DGX 3200, and to 64x64 for the Enova DGX 6400 (all come in increments of four with upgrade
potential to the individual product's capacity). Audio Switching Boards extend the I/O range (see page 12).
The System Configuration interface provides simplified setup and configuration of inputs, outputs, and endpoints.

Integrated Ethernet switch passes Ethernet to attached DXLink Twisted Pair and Fiber Transmitters and Receivers.

Auto-setup feature automatically discovers and connects to endpoints using a single IP address.

Independent networks for public LAN and ICS LAN (private) provide secure isolation of A/V equipment from the primary

network.
Core architecture supports 4K and Ultra High Definition (UHD) content as well as 3D and Deep Color video.

System self-diagnostics – power monitoring, fan control and monitoring, signal and temperature sensing. The System

Configuration interface monitors, collects, and displays advanced diagnostic information.
Global presets (via Control Panel) allow quick recall of a comprehensive snapshot of the system's routing state.

Fully redundant (hot-swappable) power supplies (RPS) with independent power paths for maximum reliability.


ICS LAN port (RJ-45) for communication with endpoint devices in auto-setup configuration over ICS LAN (private network)

Program port (USB mini-AB) used for NetLinx Studio control

Control port (standard RS-232) for direct matrix switching control

Control port (USB mini-B) used as a virtual COM port for serial communication with a PC

AxLink Control port (4-pin captive wire connector) for direct control of AxLink devices

