INSPECTION DETAILS - E. Under Vehicle (ON Hoist)

AFTER LIFTING VEHICLE
E05. REMOVE WHEEL FILM
Visually inspect rotors for rust.
NOTE:
For the best rotor rust prevention, retain
wheel film on vehicle until just prior to cus-
tomer delivery.
If leakage is found, see Repair Manual.
E06. CHECK CHASSIS INSPEC-
TION FOR LEAKAGE OR
DAMAGE
a ) Visually and by hand check the following
components for proper installation,
clamping, connection and damage:
¥ Brake lines, hoses and protectors
¥ Fuel lines, hoses and protectors
¥ Steering linkage and dust boots
¥ Drive shaft boots
¥ Parking brake cable
b ) Visually check the following components*
for fluid leakage:
¥ Engine
¥ Hybrid transaxle
¥ Steering gear
¥ Brake lines
¥ Fuel lines
¥ Rear axle
• Transmission
c ) Visually check the entire underside of
the body for proper rust-resistant coat-
ing.
