4. Check that the steering column moves
away from the driver and tilts up and
that the driver's seat moves back-
ward.
• Return operation
1. Switch the "POWER" switch to AC-
CESSORY mode or fasten the driver's
seat belt.
2. Check that the steering column and
the driver's seat automatically move
to the previous position.
B08. CHECK OUTSIDE REAR
VIEW MIRRORS
a ) Check power outside rear view mirror
operation with the "POWER" switch in
the ACCESSORY or ON mode.
1. Press the master switch "L" (left) and
"R" (right) and press the control switch
in the desired direction (up, down or
side-to-side). Check that the mirrors
operate smoothly.
2. Press the mirror folding switch to fold
the mirror and press again to extend
the mirror.
3. Press the automatic mirror folding
switch and lock the doors. Check that
the mirrors are folded.
b ) With the "POWER" switch in the ON
mode, check that the mirrors move down
quickly by the following operation.
• Put the shift lever in the "R" position.
• Press "L" (left mirror) or "R" (right mir-
ror) on the master switch.
