CRUISE CONTROL
By Pressing switch 1, this warning light
gets 6 ON in the cluster to and the mes-
sage "CRUISE CONTROL" accompa-
nied by dashes indicates that the cruise
control function is activated and waiting
to store a cruising speed.
Depending on the vehicle, the stored
speed information appears on cluster-
display

Activating cruise control
At a steady speed (above approxi-
mately (18 mph) 30 km/h) and in the
correct gear, press switch 1 or 2 (+):
the function is avctivated and the cur-
rent speed is stored.
The cruising speed replaces the dashes
and the cruise control is confirmed by
the appearance of warning light 7 as
well as warning light 6.

Driving
Once a cruising speed is stored and
the cruise control function is active,
you may lift your foot off the accelera-
tor pedal.
Important: you are never-
theless advised to keep
your feet close to the pedals
in order to react if neces-
sary.
The system is designed in such a
way that it is possible to detect a dif-
ference between the stored speed
and the speed shown on the instru-
ment panel.
