When the battery of the card is flat, you
can still lock/unlock your vehicle
manually. Refer contents under
LOCKING/UNLOCKING DOORS
and you can start the vehicle by
inserting the card into the card re-
ader.

The RENAULT card is used
for:
- locking/unlocking the doors/tail gate.
- switch on vehicle lighting remotely.

Battery life

Make sure that the correct battery type
is used and it is in good condition and
inserted correctly. Its service life is ap-
proximately two years. Replace it when
the message,"KEY CARD BATTERY
LOW' appears on instrument panel.

RENAULT card, it is important to make
sure that you do not lock/unlock the
doors by inadvertently pressing the but-
tons.
