Unlocking the SIM Card and Mobile Phone

By setting a PIN (personal identification number) code of the SIM card and the
handset lock code, you can protect your SIM card and phone from illegal use.
Method to unlock the SIM card: Enter the PIN code and press the # key or Left
soft key [OK].
If you enter an incorrect PIN code three times in a row, your SIM card will be
locked by the network and the phone will ask for the PUK code instead.
Note: Your service provider will set a standard PIN code (four to eight digits) for
your SIM card; please change it with your private password as soon as possible.
Method to unlock the phone: Enter the phone lock code and press the # key or
Left soft key [OK].
