2. Do not disassemble the battery.
3. Do not short-circuit the battery. Accident short-circuiting can occur when a metallic object (coin, key or pen ) causes direct connection of the + and – terminals of the battery.
4. Do not dispose of battery packs in a fire. The handset's Li-ION batteries may be safely disposed of at a Li-ION recycling point. Do not dispose as household waste.
5. Do not attempt to dismantle the handset or any of its accessories.
6. Do not put a battery into a microwave oven, dryer, or high-pressure container.
7. Do not contact battery directly to an electric outlet or cigarette lighter charger.
8. Do not pierce battery with a sharp object such as a needle.
9. Stop using the battery if abnormal heat, odor, discoloration, deformation, or abnormal condition is detected during use, charge, or storage.
10. Keep the battery's metal contacts clean.
11. Battery life will vary due to usage patterns and environmental conditions. It will decrease if exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures.
12. The phone's talking time and standby time are based on ideal working environments. The use of extended backlighting, Browser, and network conditions affect battery life and talk/standby
time.

Power on/off Your Phone

Press and hold the End key to power on/off the phone. The mobile will then display the following prompts:
Enter password: If handset lock code has been activated. The default password is 0000.
Once the necessary security conditions have been fulfilled the handset will register with the network.
Warning: Do not power the phone on when wireless phone use is prohibited or when it may cause interference or danger.

Unlocking mobile phone

By setting the handset lock code, you can protect your phone and UIM card against unauthorized use.
Method to unlock the phone: key in handset lock code and then press OK key.
Note: If you forget your handset lock code, please contact with your dealer or the authorized local customer service center. Please refer to Section "Settings----Security".

Connecting to the Network

After the phone and UIM card are unlocked, the mobile phone will automatically search for the network. When the phone has successfully registered on a network the network service provider's name/logo
appears on the display.
