IJR8B9 (NGK)
NOTICE
Never use a spark plug with an improper
heat range. Severe engine damage could
result.
This motorcycle uses the spark plugs that
have a iridium coated center electrode.
Be sure to observe the following when
servicing the spark plugs.
• Do not clean the spark plug. If the elect
rode is contaminated wi th accumulated
objects or dirt, replace the spark plug
with a new one.
• Use only ''wire-type feeler gauge'' to
check the spark plug gap to prevent
damaging the iridium coating of the
center electrodes. Never use ''leaf-type
feeler gauge''.
• Do not adjust the spark plug gap. If the
gap is out of specification, replace the
spark plug with a new one.
