replacement.
The memory replacement is not covered in the warranty and may incur service
charges.
To upgrade the machine, turn off the system and disconnect the power cord and the
battery.
Disconnect the telephone line if linked to the modem. An electric shock or fire may
occur.
Supported Memory
PC3-8500 (1066 MHz) DDR3L SDRAM SO-DIMM
PC3-10600 (1333 MHz) DDR3L SDRAM SO-DIMM
PC3-12800 (1600 MHz) DDR3L SDRAM SO-DIMM
Supported memory types are different depending on the model. Make sure to check
the memory type when you purchase memory.
The operating speed of the memory depends on the maximum speed supported by
the internal memory controller (IMC) inside the CPU.
(E.g.) If the maximum speed supported by IMC is 1333 MHz, the PC3 12800
(1600 MHz) memory runs at 1333 MHz.

Preparing Memory

Before purchasing memory, study the specifications and features of the current memory.
