Setting the operating mode of an LPU
Follow these steps to set the operating mode of an LPU:

Set the operating mode of an SC or

NOTE:
After setting the operating mode of an EB, SC, or SD card, save the configuration and reboot the switch
to validate the configuration.
If your switch has multiple EB or SD cards, set the same operating mode for them.
An EB or SD card might reboot once or twice for self-optimization the first time you change its operating
mode or upgrade the software version of the switch after changing the card operating mode. The
process takes about 6 to 10 minutes.
