NOTE: Be careful not to demage driv• shalt .
Tape tho screwdriver tip.

lip surface for cracks

(el Using SST. install the new oil seal.

(al As shown in the figure, use a knife to cut off the oil
seal lip.
!b l Usi ng e screwdriver, pry out the oil seal.
NOTE: Be cereful not to demage the cranksheft.
Tape the screwdriver tip.
tel Check the crankshaft where it
contacts
the oil ti p sut·
face for cracks or damage.
(dl Apply MP grease to the oil seal.
lei Using SST, install the now oil seal.
