6.8 EP710 Display Specification Test Procedure

1. Test Measurement Setup
1.) The distance between test unit and screen is 2.1m.
2.) The ambient brightness should be less than 20lux.
3.) Test Instrument : Minolta CL-100 Chroma meter
2. Test Item
1) ANSI Lumen :
The screen illumination shall be measured with a light meter whose
sensor isplaced in and parallel to the plane of the focused image at
the center of each of 9 rectangles (see Fig 1).
The average of the 9 reading in lux shall be multiplied by the number
of square meters covered by the image at the plane of the meter
readings. The result is the light output specification of the projector
in lumen.
