vehicle. Lock the doors to
help prevent this from
happening.
Inside the Vehicle
Press the power door lock switch to
lock or unlock all doors.
Push down on the door lock knob to
lock that door. Pull once on the door
handle to unlock and again to open
the door.
Outside the Vehicle
Use the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
transmitter or the key lock cylinder on
the driver front door. The key lock
cylinder is covered with a cap.
Keyless Access
Press the lock/unlock button when the
RKE transmitter is within 1 m (3 ft) of
the driver door handle. When
unlocking from the driver door, the
first press unlocks that door; press
again within five seconds to unlock all
passenger doors. See Remote Keyless
Entry (RKE) System Operation 0 29.
Key Lock Cylinder Access
To access the key lock cylinder:
1. Pull the door handle to the open
position.
2. Insert the key into the slot on
the bottom of the cap and pry
outward.
3. Move the cap outward and
remove.
To replace the cap:
1. Pull the door handle to the open
position.
