    With this feature the engine can be started from outside of the vehicle. 1. Press on the RKE transmitter. 2. Within two seconds, press and hold until the turn signal lamps flash. Or for about 2 seconds if the vehicle is not in view.

    For vehicles without keyless access, unlock the vehicle before opening the liftgate. Press the touchpad located in the handle of the liftgate, above the license plate, and lift up to open. Do not press the touchpad while closing the liftgate. This will cause the liftgate to be unlatched.

    The power window controls are on each of the side doors. The driver door also has switches that control the passenger and rear windows. Operate the switch for the window by pressing to open and pulling to close. Pushing or pulling the switch part of the way will open or close the window as long as the switch is operated.

    If available, the buttons are near the climate controls on the instrument panel. To operate, the ignition must be in ON/RUN/START. Press to heat the seat or cool the seat. For more information, see Do not drive until the head restraints for all occupants are installed and adjusted properly.

    The passenger sensing system will turn off the right front passenger frontal airbag and seat-mounted side impact airbag under certain conditions. The driver airbags and roof rail airbags are not affected by the passenger sensing system. The passenger airbag status indicator will be visible on the overhead console when the vehicle is started.
  • Page 18 Vehicles with power folding mirrors have controls on the driver door. To fold the mirrors: 1. With the selector switch in the O position, push the down arrow on the control pad. Both mirrors will automatically fold. 2. Push the down arrow on the control pad again to return the mirrors to their original position.
