Removing and Replacing the Flip Display Assembly

1. Remove the battery cover, battery, SIM, antenna, rear housing, transceiver
board assembly, keypad assembly, flip assembly, and flip cover as described in
the procedures.
2. Use the metal tweezers to release the 2 latches on each side of the flip display
shield (see Figure 18).

3. Lift the display shield away from the flip assembly. Do not reuse the display
shield for reassembly.
4. Remove the display assembly shock pad from the display module assembly (see
Figure 19).
