Removing and Replacing the Antenna

1. Remove the battery cover and battery as described in the procedures.
2. By hand, rotate the antenna counterclockwise until loose (see Figure 4.)

3. When the antenna threads are completely disengaged, pull the antenna
straight out of the phone to remove.
Ensure antenna threads are properly engaged before tightening to prevent
damaging the antenna or housing.
4. To replace, insert the threaded end of the antenna carefully into the housing
and, after ensuring the threads are properly engaged, rotate clockwise. Tighten
firmly by hand.
5. Replace the SIM, battery, and battery cover as described in the procedures.
