The TS 120 Triggering 3D Touch Probe System for
HEIDENHAIN controls can
be
connected
via
a cable adapter to
the
X
10 D'subminiature socket on the rear of the unit. The
material of the workpiece to
be
scanned must
be
electrically
non-conducting. The stylus can deflect in the directlOlls
±
X
±
Y,
and
-Z. Upon
stylus
deflection,
the
TS 120
generates
two
triggering signals for differential line transmission.
The stylus can
be
deflected beyond the triggering point:
The maximum stylus deflection in both
X/Y
direction and in Z
direction is 20 mm (when the standard 47 mm stylus is used).
