Description
Before log information is output to log hosts,
leading characters are added. Log information
saved in the local device does not contain leading
characters.
Five timestamp formats are available:
boot: indicates relative time. By default,
l
debugging information adopts this timestamp
format.
date: indicates the system time format. By
l
default, trap information and log information
adopts this timestamp format.
short-date: indicates that timestamp is expressed
l
in the short-date format, which is similar to the
date format. The only difference is that the short-
date format does not include year.
format-date: indicates another format of system
l
time.
none: indicates that no timestamp is contained
l
in information.
There should be a space between the timestamp
and the host name.
By default, the system name is Quidway.
Indicates that the log is output by Huawei products.
Identifies the version of the log format.
Indicates the name of the module that outputs
information to the information center.
Indicates the severity level of log information.
Further describes the information type.
L: indicates the user log identifier.
Indicates detailed information output from each
module to the information center. Every time log
information is output, modules fill this field with
detailed information.
Slot: indicates the number of the slot that sends
location information. A space is required
separately at the beginning and end of the
information. Since boards that generate logs are
different, some logs may not contain location
information.
