Setting Up a Future
Recording
You can set the timer to record something from either the tuner or
a component connected to the AUX/CD-R inputs. For example, you
might want to record a program on the radio that is broadcast
while you're at work. If you're recording from an auxiliary
component it must also be able to switch on at the time the
recording starts —this system can't control it— or you have to
leave it switched on until the recording has finished.
Timer recording works with either the tape deck or the optional
MD recorder. During the actual recording, the volume is
automatically set to minimum.
1 Set up the tape deck/MD recorder.
If you're recording to tape:
Load a cassette tape, set the recording direction and reverse
mode, and switch on/off Dolby NR as required.
If you're recording to disc:
Load an MD into the recorder.
The tape deck is set up ready to record
2 Set up the tuner/auxiliary component.
If you're recording from the tuner:
Switch to the tuner, and tune into the station (see page 27 for
more detailed instructions on this).
If you're recording from the auxiliary component:
Switch to that component and set it up for playback.

Vous pouvez régler la minuterie pour un enregistrement depuis la

exemple, vous pourrez enregistrer une émission de radio diffusée
pendant que vous êtes au travail. Si vous enregistrez depuis un
appareil raccordé, il devra être capable de se mettre en service à
l'heure où l'enregistrement commence, car la chaîne ne pourra
pas l'allumer, ou vous devrez le laisser allumé jusqu'à ce que
l'enregistrement soit terminé.
Un enregistrement programmé peut être effectué soit sur une
platine à cassette soit sur un enregistreur MD en option. Pendant
l'enregistrement, le volume se règle automatiquement sur
minimum.

1 Réglez la platine à cassette ou
l'enregistreur MD.
Si vous enregistrez sur une cassette:
Mettez une cassette, réglez le sens d'enregistrement et le
mode d'inversion et mettez le réducteur de bruit Dolby en ou
hors service.
Si vous enregistrez sur un disque:
Mettez un MD dans l'enregistreur.
La platine à cassette est prête à enregistrer
2 Réglez la radio ou l'appareil auxiliaire.
Si vous enregistrez depuis la radio:
Sélectionnez la radio et accordez une station (voir page 27
pour les détails à ce sujet).
Si vous enregistrez depuis un appareil auxiliaire:
Sélectionnez cet appareil et réglez-le pour la lecture.
La radio est prête à être enregistrée
