SYNC

This function provides timing synchronization in the CANopen network. This function can synchronize the TPDO transmission
timing and RPDO receive timing.
Function details
The SYNC producer (active NMT master) (1) periodically sends a SYNC message to synchronize the timing of the SYNC
consumers (hot standby NMT master, NMT slave) (2).

• Only the active NMT master can be set as the SYNC producer.
• The SYNC message transmission cycle may vary due to the latency from some other message being
transmitted just before the SYNC.
