Note: The headset is already paired with the base unit from the factory. Pairing should only be necessary if

8.1 Remove headset cover. Press
Reset button on headset for 3
sec. Visual indicator on headset

8.3 Make sure headset and base
are within 1 meter/3 feet of each
other. When pairing is successful,
both visual indicators will light
steady green for 3 sec., and then
turn off.

The GN 1000 Remote Handset
Lifter (RHL) is an optional acces-
sory that automatically lifts and
lowers your telephone's handset
when making, answering or ending
a call.
Setting up
9.1 Attach RHL to telephone
handset cradle. Connect RHL cord
to AUX port on bottom of Kiwi
base unit.
Making/answering a call
9.2 Put on 5300 headset, or press
headset Hook switch if already
wearing headset. The RHL will au-
tomatically lift telephone handset.
Ending a call
9.3 Press headset Hook button,
or place headset in base cradle.
The RHL will automatically replace
telephone handset, and the call
will be terminated.
