Installation
Overview
Stage 1 — Install the VLR 102 Receiver and Optional VLR 102 SR

Secondary Receiver

Choose one of these installation types:
1a. Drop ceiling

Stage 2 — Install the FF 120 Speakers (VLS only)

Cut a hole in the ceiling tile.
Mount the receiver housing to the ceiling tile.
Attach a conduit to the back plate if needed.
Install the junction box. (page 20)
Attach the receiver housing to the junction box.
Attach a conduit to the junction box if needed.
Install a raceway if needed.
Mark the hole locations for the mounting screws on the surface.
If using a raceway, remove the appropriate knockout in the receiver
housing. (page 21)
Mount the receiver housing to the surface.
Attach the pole to the ceiling.
Mount the receiver housing to the pole.
Cut the ceiling tile. (page 26)
Install the speakers in the drop ceiling.
(Optional) Install a seismic safety cable at each speaker location.
Terminate the speaker cable for the PVS switcher.
