NOTE: If you replace the chassis, you must also replace the battery.

NOTE: If you replace the battery, you must also replace the chassis.

Before disassembling the device, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect the power from the device by unplugging the power adapter cord from the device.
2. Turn off the device. If you are unsure whether the device is off, turn the device on, and then shut it down
through the operating system.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the device.

CAUTION: Disconnecting a battery that is the sole power source for the device can cause loss of
information. To prevent loss of information, save your work or shut down the device through the operating
system before disconnecting the battery.
IMPORTANT:
