Component replacement procedures

This chapter provides removal and replacement procedures for authorized service provider only parts.
There are as many as 22 screws that must be removed, replaced, and/or loosened when servicing the device.
Make special note of each screw size and location during removal and replacement.

Card reader tray

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of loss of data or an unresponsive system, save your information and close all
programs associated with the microSD card.

Card reader tray, black
Remove the card reader tray:
▲ Place your fingernail in the small recess on the bottom of the card reader tray, pull out the tray to
remove it from the device
Reverse the steps to replace the tray.
