Note:
If the EPSON Scanners Driver Disk is requested, insert the Scanner
Software CD in the CD-ROM drive and make sure to specify the correct
drive letter, the EPSON folder, the folder of your preferred language, and
the Win98 (for Windows 98 users) or Win2000 (for Windows 2000
users) folder as the location.
Upgrading from Windows 98, 95 or NT 4.0 to
Windows 2000
If EPSON TWAIN is already installed, you need to uninstall it,
upgrade the system to Windows 2000, and then re-install it, as
follows:
1. Uninstall EPSON TWAIN. See "Uninstalling EPSON
TWAIN" on page 6-31.
2. After uninstalling EPSON TWAIN, turn off the computer and
the scanner, and then disconnect the scanner from the
computer.
3. Turn on the computer and install Windows 2000.
4. Connect the scanner and install EPSON TWAIN following the
instructions in your Startup Guide.
Note for Windows 95 and NT 4.0 users:
For some interfaces, if they do not work with your current system,
upgrading the system does not enable the interfaces to work with the
upgraded system. See "System Requirements" on page A-2 for details.
