The Power Supply LED indicates the status of the power supplies. The LED flashes
when only one power cord is connected. The LED lights steady when both power
cords are connected.
The RackSwitch G8264T switch ports and port options are described in this section.
Forty-eight 10GBASE-T ports are located on the front panel. These ports accept the
following copper cables:
• 1000BASE-T:
– Category 5e UTP
• 10GBASE-T:
– Category 5e UTP
– Category 6 UTP
– Category 6A UTP
CAUTION:
This product might contain one or more of the following devices: CD-ROM
drive, DVD-ROM drive, DVD-RAM drive, or laser module, which are Class 1
laser products. Note the following information:

Do not remove the covers. Removing the covers of the laser product could
result in exposure to hazardous laser radiation. There are no serviceable
parts inside the device.

Use of the controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other
than those specified herein might result in hazardous radiation exposure.

Four 40 GbE Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable (QSFP+) ports are located on the
front panel. These ports accept supported optical QSFP+ transceivers or direct
attach cables (DACs). The supported transceivers interoperate with any
40GBASE-SR4 compliant device, and support distances up to 100 meters on OM3
fiber. Transceivers must be purchased separately.
