11) Install the O-ring and mount the lower housing on the gear motor.
1) Install the lower part of mechanical seal on the lower housing.
13) Lower the evaporator down and secure it to the lower housing.
14) Install the auger assembly with the upper part of the mechanical seal attached.
15) Replace the removed parts in the reverse order of which they were removed. When
replacing spout (A), make sure the safety switch components are in position as
illustrated in Fig.1.
16) Move the flush switch to the "ICE" position and plug the unit back in. Move the power
switch to the "ON" position.
17) Replace the panels in their correct positions.

8. Removal and Replacement of Gear Motor

1) Remove the panels. Move the flush switch to the "FLUSH" position to drain the water
from the evaporator.
) Move the power switch to the "OFF" position and unplug the unit from the electrical
outlet.
3) Remove the thumbscrews attaching spout (B) to the bin, then remove spout (B). See
Fig. 1.
4) Remove the thumbscrews attaching spout (A) and safety bracket (A) to the evaporator
assembly, then remove spout (A) and safety bracket (A). See Fig. 1.
5) Remove the bolts securing the lower housing to the gear motor. Lift the evaporator up
slightly.
6) Remove the allen head cap screws securing the gear motor.
7) Remove the wiring from the gear motor, then remove the gear motor.
8) Attach coupling-spline from the old gear motor to the new gear motor.
9) Replace the removed parts in the reverse order of which they were removed. When
replacing spout (A), make sure safety bracket (A) is in position as illustrated in Fig.1.
10) Move the flush switch to the "ICE" position and plug the unit back in. Move the power
switch to the "ON" position.
11) Replace the panels in their correct positions.
D. Removal and Replacement of Fan Motor
1) Remove the panels. Move the power switch to the "OFF" position and unplug the unit
from the electrical outlet.
) Remove the wire connectors from the fan motor leads.
3) Remove the fan motor bracket and fan motor.
4) Install the new fan motor.
5) Replace the fan motor bracket and the wire connectors.
