4. Select " 2 RECEIVE" on the receiving unit.
5. Select "1 SEND" on the sending unit.
(Data transfer between the two units will begin.)
After the data is transferred, verify it with the " VERIFY" function to

make sure that it was transferred correctly.
When the receiving unit does not have sufficient memory capacity
l
to hold the data bein transferred, " MEMORY FULL" will appear. If
this occurs, press C*CE , delete any unnecessary items in the
memory of the receiving unit, and then retransfer the data.
The VERIFY function can be used to see if the data has been trans-
ferred correctly. The process for verifying transmission is almost iden-
tical to the sending process.
Either Organizer can be designated as the receiving unit during
verification.
Recall the data to be verified and select " VERIFY" .
Verifying all the data in one operation mode
l
Recall the initial display for the mode to be verified (e.g., in the
SCHEDULE mode, recall the date input display) and select
" VERIFY" .
For example, to verify all the data in the TEL1 mode:
(" NAME ?" will appear on the display.)
2. Display the " UNIT TO UNIT" menu on the receivina unit.
(Make sure that both the sending and receiving units are set to the
same mode.)
3. Display the " UNIT TO UNIT" menu on the sending unit.
4. Select " 3 VERIFY" on the receiving unit.

5. Select "1 SEND" on the sending unit, which initiates data verifica-
tion.
When the data in the receiving unit and sending unit do not
match up, an error occurs. If this occurs, re-verify the data. If
the error message still appears, retransfer the data.
The CE-220T Data Transfer Cable is required.
When data is transferred, it will be appended to the, data in the
receiving unit.
Transferring one item of data
l
Display the data you wish to transfer, and transfer it with the
" SEND" and " RECEIVE" functions.
Transferring all the data in one operation mode
l
Recall the initial display in the mode you would like to transfer
(in the SCHEDULE mode recall the date input display by
pressing ml twice) and select the " SEND" and " RECEIVE"
functions.
During data transfer, secret data (coded with " X" ) is also tranS-
But, if the secret function is ON, an error will occur.
