Recording Prompts
System prompts can be customised, and certain system prompts, such as Company Greetings and
Custom Service menus, must be customised in order to use the VPS effectively.
The System Administrator can record prompts using an extension telephone and KX-TVM
Maintenance Console. KX-TVM Maintenance Console can also be used to import pre-recorded audio
files to be used as system prompts. For more information, refer to 1.8.3 Utility—System Prompts
Customisation in the Programming Manual.
The Message Manager can record prompts using his or her extension telephone. For more
information, refer to 3.2.6 Recording Messages in the Feature Manual.
