Transport safety instructions

Observe the following instructions:
— Do not expose the device to moisture during transport.
Pack the device accordingly.
— Pack the device so that it is protected against vibrations
during transport, e.g., by using air-cushioned packaging.

Storage conditions

— The device must be stored in dry and dust-free conditions.
The device is also protected by a desiccant in the
packaging.
— The desiccant guarantees sufficient protection for
approximately 150 days. It can be regenerated at a
temperature of 90 °C (114 °F) within 4 h.
— Remove the desiccant prior to commissioning the actuator
or the electronics.
— If you intend to store or transport the device for a
prolonged period (> 6 months), we recommend that you
wrap it in plastic film and add desiccant.
— The permissible storage and transport temperatures must
be observed.
— Protect uncovered metallic surfaces with an appropriate
long-term corrosion inhibitor.
— The relevant long-term storage temperatures must be
observed.
— In principle, the devices may be stored for an unlimited
period. However, the warranty conditions stipulated in the
order confirmation of the supplier apply.
