Select to manually go to the Voice command menu page; refer to Chapter 5 for more
details.
5. Volume
Select to adjust the volume or mute the GPS unit. The user can also adjust the volume
of sound effects for navigation, telephone, multimedia, notification and audio output (for
media playback).
6. Settings
Select to configure various settings of the GPS unit.
7. Applications
Select to go to the Applications page. By default, the page will contain Garmin's
exclusive Apps. If you have installed other Apps via the Android platform, you can also
access them here.
8. Toggle between home screens
The nüvi 4592LM has an operating interface with five home screens in total, with the
Garmin Navigation Tool page at its center. You can slide either to the right or left to
access two additional home screens on each side. You can also freely add new apps to
a home screen according to your preferences.
9. Return/ Previous Page
Select to return to the previous screen/ page.
10. Home button
Select to return to the default Garmin Navigator main menu immediately from any
screen/page you are in.
11. List of recently used applications
Use the list to quickly browse through and toggle between applications you have
recently used.
