IGMP Setting

The IGMP (Internet Group Management Protocol) Settings allows you to con-
figure various IGMP settings to establish multicast group memberships on IP
networks. Only experienced network technicians should change IGMP settings.
Also, note that changing any of the IGMP settings could cause the performance of
SaskTel MAX to degrade. To use:
IGMP Setting from the left side of any Advanced Configuration screen.
1. Click
The IGMP Configuration screen appears.
2. Click in the appropriate check box to enable IGMP snooping.
3. Select standard or blocking mode by clicking the appropriate radio button.
4. Select the IGMP protocol version from the Default Version drop-down list.
5. The Query Interval is the amount of time between IGMP general query set-
tings sent by the Gateway. The entered time period (in seconds) must be
greater than or equal to 1.
