Actiontec V1000H Router Setup and User Guide General Information Router Kit Components Your router kit should include the following: • Actiontec V1000H modem/router • Power cord • One (1) yellow Ethernet cable • One (1) white Ethernet cable Note: In order to connect the router to your computer, your computer must have an Ethernet Network Interface Card (NIC) installed. - Page 3 Actiontec V1000H Router Setup and User Guide 3. Click Internet Options. 4. Select the Connections tab. 5. Select Never Dial a Connection. 6. Click LAN Settings. 7. Verify all boxes are unchecked and click OK. 8. Click OK. 9. Actiontec V1000H Router Setup and User Guide Configuring Your Router To configure your router, you will need the Customer Information Sheet that was emailed to you (or deliv- ered to you by your Account Representative). This sheet contains your Static IP assignments. If you do not have this, please contact our Technical Support team before going any further. - Page 7 Actiontec V1000H Router Setup and User Guide 7. Click Apply. 8. A Thank You screen will appear, please wait as the WAN configurations are saved. Stop here and proceed to Configuring Your Computer on page 8, if the devices behind your computer do not need a Static IP address.

Enter the LAN Modem IP Address found on your Customer Information Sheet in the Modem IP Address field. 11.
